Customer Feedback – Action Taken
“Is there a way to be able to share courses with friends/coworkers/staff/teachers? It would be nice if there were some sort of "share" button in each course. As an administrator sometimes I view a course and think about a specific team at my school that might like it. To be able to click a button that drops them an email with a direct link to that course would be super helpful! Sometimes searching for a course takes a bit, and if a couple of courses have similar names, it can get confusing.”
We’ve added a share button on the course page. If you have enrolled in or completed a course, you can share that course recommendation with others via email. Click here to view a help desk article on the share feature.
“In the ratings and "submit course" button, it defaults to 1. However, the "submit course" button stands out. Adjust the rating to not auto-fill and keep the button "grayed" so it won't submit until a rating is chosen, otherwise, there may be a lot of level 1 ratings.”
We’ve updated the rating system to reflect the rate weighting (1/5,2/5,3/5,4/5,5/5) to provide more clarity on the weight values. We’ve also re-ordered the ratings from high-low for ease of data entry. We’ve ensured the submittal button doesn’t have focus so the user can’t accidentally submit a rating. Click here to view a help desk article on ratings feature.
“At the end of a course, have the certificate download window open in a new tab.”
When you select View Certificate upon course completion, the certificate will open in a new browser tab.
“Completion of courses does not seem to be automatic in My VPP.”
A process runs in the background to refresh the VPP enrollments and status. We’ve increased the rate at which the VPP is refreshed. If you flow straight to your VPP in Learning Builder upon course completion, you may still see up to a five-minute delay.
“Is there a way to link to the other parts of a series on this course's page? For example, how can I quickly find 2 and 3 in a series of courses.”
Watch for future updates! We are considering the addition of course links so that you can quickly enroll in a related course.
