Thank you for passing on this news to all of us.

I never attended an ACSI BOD meeting that Dr. Paul Kienel did not come up to me personally and thank me for serving on the BOD and traveling all the way from South Korea to attend the meetings.  Every meeting he did this... this epitomized to me a GIANT leader who takes care of what many might deem small, but truly is important.  He was such an encourager (like Barnabas) in my life on so many occasions.

I also found Dr. Kienel on several occasions to speak the "voice of truth and insight" (like Apostle Paul) in the room at just the right time at our meetings and on very important issues from my perspective as a BOD member. Of course, today, worldwide, ACSI speaks volumes to his leadership contributions. He was involved from the beginning in ever expanding the horizon for ACSI.

Here in Asia, all of us connected with the ACSI community will pray for Annie and the family as they grieve and celebrate his passage from this world to the eternal world.  He lived his life well during this earthly journey and as such our sorrow is turned into joy.

May God give us all the courage and strength to follow his example and finish well.

Blessings to all from South Korea,

    Tom Penland
