Determine Algebra Readiness with the Iowa Algebra Aptitude Test

Developed at the University of Iowa, the Iowa Algebra Aptitude Test™ (IAAT™), Fifth Edition assesses students’ readiness for Algebra I, including any additional support and intervention they may need to become successful in the algebra classroom. IAAT is a group-administered, 40-minute algebra placement exam designed for students in grades 7 and 8, though also suitable for accelerated students in the lower grades, students in high school, and those in junior college.
