WD Legal Workshop - CA

Join us for this interactive training session, where participants will work together on crafting school policies and scenario planning through case studies of school incidents. Topics covered include:

• Student issues from admissions through graduation (admissions process, conduct and discipline, records, parents, custody, and divorce)
• Policies and procedures, including handbook reviews
• School safety and crisis communication planning
• Supervision and negligence
• Nonprofit organization standards and board obligations
• Religious rights of the school and constitutional rights of the student   
• CEU credit will be available

Time: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Total 7 hours (6 hours of content + lunch)
