PD Forum

2020 Professional Development Forums

Join Us for the PD Forums Finale

After many great years of collaboration and discovery at the PD Forums, our flagship professional development offering will transition to a new format next year. The new Flourishing School Institute will help educators explore and grow through the Flourishing School Culture Model.

At this year's PD Forums, our breakout sessions will explore all five domains of the model. Our keynote session will be focused on Well-Being. The Well-Being of educators is deeply linked to flourishing outcomes in Christian schools. We’ll learn how both teacher and student success depends on promoting reduced stress, healthy living, and increased resilience in the classroom.

May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children.
Psalm 115:14

Teachers have higher levels of stress than soldiers. Student engagement begins in the heart as the gateway to the mind. Faith is the foundation of our practice as we move from Frustration to a Flourishing classroom. Rex Miller and Kevin Baird draw from their new book, WHOLE: What Teachers Need to Help Students Thrive, sharing inspirational stories from schools facing overwhelming odds, and overcoming barriers to lead teachers and learners to find their passons and flourish.
